Artist BiographY

Tasha Layton

Tasha Layton is a contemporary Christian musician who finds her identity and purpose in her personal relationship with Jesus. Layton’s musical career took off with her appearance on Season 9 of American Idol and during the four years she spent touring as a back-up vocalist for pop superstar Katy Perry. In 2020, Layton was first named one of Billboard’s Top 5 female Christian artists of the year on the heels of her breakthrough single “Into The Sea (It’s Gonna Be OK).” Following “Into The Sea (It’s Gonna Be OK),” her consecutive hits “Look What You’ve Done” and “How Far” topped the charts at number one and are consistently testifying on radio stations across the country to the incredible transformation she’s experienced after moving God’s truth from her head to her heart.

Her latest release, “Never,” is currently a fan favorite as it continues climbing the charts. Tasha has experienced the depths of suicidal thoughts, struggling with comparison and self-worth. But her God brought her through and set her course toward a life of joy, freedom, boldness, and eternal perspective. Today, she blesses people everywhere with her breathtaking talents and testimony. From humble beginnings in small-town South Carolina, to far off places on almost every continent, Tasha has experienced God’s love every step of the way.

Speaker BiographY

KB

As much as glory necessitates gratitude, praise, and respect, it also demands enough faith to let go of control and give in to the greater plan for your life. KB is a Dove Award-winning rapper, speaker, and podcaster.Throughout a tireless decade-plus grind, KB has done his part and certainly put in the work. Still, it only prepared him to lean on his faith harder than ever and, ultimately, deliver his boldest artistic statement to date. Among many milestones, his anthem “100” garnered “Rap/Hip-Hop Song of the Year” at the Dove Awards in 2014, while he scored four back-to-back #1 debuts on the Billboard Top Christian Albums Chart. He’s ready for another level of glory with his 2023 full-length album, His Glory Alone II.

“I never talked about my life like this on a record,” he leaves off. “When you listen to it, I hope you hear and understand the passion of a broken but committed man. Maybe you can see yourself in this man. That’s who I am. I’m a son whose wounds are being healed as a father. I’m a husband who is serious about leading in my household. I’m an institution builder who cares about helping people and, hopefully, looks fly while doing it,” he laughs. “That’s KB right now.” Although KB wears many hats, his greatest joy is being a husband to Michelle and a father to their three children.

Thank You Jesus for the Blood

I was a wretch

I remember who I was

I was lost, I was blind

I was running out of time

Sin separated

The breach was far too wide

But from the far side of the chasm

You held me in your sight

So You made a way

Across the great divide

Left behind Heaven's throne

To build it here inside

And there at the cross

You paid the debt I owed

Broke my chains, freed my soul

For the first time I had hope

Thank you Jesus for the blood applied

Thank you Jesus, it has washed me white

Thank you Jesus, You have saved my life

Brought me from the darkness into glorious light

You took my place

Laid inside my tomb of sin

You were buried for three days

But then You walked right out again

And now death has no sting

And life has no end

For I have been transformed

By the blood of the lamb

Thank You Jesus for the blood applied

(thank You Jesus)

Thank You Jesus, it has washed me white

Thank You Jesus, You have saved my life

Brought me from the darkness into glorious light

There is nothing stronger

Than the wonder working power of the blood

The blood

That calls us sons and daughters

We are ransomed by our Father

Through the blood

The blood

There is nothing stronger

Of the wonder working power of the blood

The blood

That calls us sons and daughters

We are ransomed by the Father

Through the blood

The blood

Thank You Jesus for the blood applied

Thank You Jesus, it have washed me white

Thank You Jesus, You have saved my life

Brought me from the darkness into glorious light

Glory to His name

Glory to His name

There to my heart was the blood applied

Glory to His name

Holy Forever

Verse 1:

A thousand generations falling down in worship

To sing the song of ages to the Lamb

And all who've gone before us, and all who will believe

Will sing the song of ages to the Lamb

Pre-Chorus

Your name is the highest

Your name is the greatest

Your name stands above them all

All thrones and dominions

All powers and positions

Your name stands above them all

Chorus:

And the angels cry, "Holy"

All creations cries, "Holy"

You are lifted high, holy

Holy forever

Verse 2:

If you've been forgiven, if you've been redeemed

Sing the song forever to the Lamb

If you walk in freedom, if you bear His name

Sing the song forever to the Lamb

We'll sing the song forever and amen

Chorus:

And the angels cry, "Holy"

All creations cries, "Holy"

You are lifted high, holy

Holy forever

Hear Your people sing, "Holy"

To the King of kings, holy

You will always be holy

Holy forever

Pre-Chorus:

Your name is the highest

Your name is the greatest

Your name stands above them all

All thrones and dominion

All powers and positions

Your name stands above them all, Jesus

Your name is the highest

Your name is the greatest

Your name stands above them all (Oh, stands above)

All thrones and dominions

All powers and positions

Your name stands above them all

Chorus:

And the angels cry, "Holy"

All creations cries, "Holy"

You are lifted high, holy

Holy forever (We cry, "Holy forever")

Hear Your people sing, "Holy" (We will sing)

To the King of kings, (Holy) holy (Holy forever)

You will always be holy

Holy forever

Living Hope

How great the chasm that lay between us

How high the mountain I could not climb

In desperation, I turned to heaven

And spoke your name into the night

Then through the darkness

Your loving kindness

Tore through the shadows of my soul

The work is finished, the end is written

Jesus Christ, my living hope

Who could imagine so great a mercy?

What heart could fathom such boundless grace?

The God of ages stepped down from glory

To wear my sin and bear my shame

The cross has spoken, I am forgiven

The king of kings calls me His own

Beautiful savior, I'm yours forever

Jesus Christ, my living hope

Hallelujah, praise the one who set me free

Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me

You have broken every chain

There's salvation in your name

Jesus Christ, my living hope

Hallelujah, praise the one who set me free

Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me

You have broken every chain

There's salvation in your name

Jesus Christ, my living hope

Then came the morning that sealed the promise

Your buried body began to breathe

Out of the silence, the roaring lion

Declared the grave has no claim on me

Then came the morning that sealed the promise

Your buried body began to breathe

Out of the silence, the roaring lion

Declared the grave has no claim on me

Jesus, yours is the victory, whoa!

Hallelujah, praise the one who set me free

Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me

You have broken every chain

There's salvation in your name

Jesus Christ, my living hope

Hallelujah, praise the one who set me free

Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me

You have broken every chain

There's salvation in your name

Jesus Christ, my living hope

Jesus Christ, my living hope

Oh God, you are my living hope

Scripture Reading

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

He is Risen!

Only Jesus Can Save You!

Here is what the Bible says:

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:9 (NIV)

Below is Billy Graham’s Sinner’s Prayer. Millions have prayed this prayer, or something similar, to start a relationship with Christ. It’s not the exact words that save you – it’s the yielding of your heart!

“Dear Lord Jesus. I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name, Amen.”

We at Z88.3 would like to help you discover a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You can go to Zradio.com and click on “Who is Jesus?” to find out more about how you can know Jesus Christ personally... and forever!
